A hug.
Something to remind you that you’re not carrying it all by yourself.
And when I opened my eyes…
there He was.

She stands at the edge of desire and consequence -
drawn forward by something that feels beautiful, valuable… almost sacred.

But look closer.

What we chase isn’t always what it claims to be.
And sometimes the most dangerous roads… are the ones paved in gold.

“Down to the Abyss - Proverbs 26:27” speaks to a life built on deception, lies, ego, corruption, affairs, defamation, gossip, jealousy, abuse, and malicious intent toward others. All of it layered, hidden, justified—until it can’t be anymore. Because there comes a moment when everything that was done in the dark begins to surface. Not all at once, but enough to tip the balance.

And when that balance breaks, there is no resistance strong enough to stop the fall.

The hand captures that final illusion of control—the last attempt to grasp, to manipulate, to hold onto power. But the truth is already closing in. The abyss isn’t sudden. It’s earned.

What’s powerful here is that nothing external is dragging the hand down. There are no chains, no visible force. The descent is self-inflicted. The weight of one’s own actions becomes the gravity.

This piece doesn’t just show judgment—it shows inevitability.

During last night's meditation, I was overcome with emotion as I reflected on my children, ongoing legal battles, and pursuit of truth. A recent, heart-wrenching encounter also weighed heavily on my mind. Though my experiences could have shattered me, I've emerged more resilient and grateful. The weight of my struggles brought me to tears, but in that moment, just when I said out loud that I just wanted a freaking hug! A hug that could hold me, Christ shows up and I felt his love just hug me the same way I have learned how to hug myself. I found solace in Christ, who comforted me with peace. I finally was able to have a good night sleep.
This is a work in progress. I hope the final product does any justice.
