She cannot see what is coming. And still, she believes.
Bellissima — Blinded by Faith is a meditation on vulnerability, uncertainty and the courage required to remain open to love after disappointment.
She doesn't know who will find her, when he will arrive, or what road love will take to reach her. She only knows that somewhere beyond the darkness, something meant for her may already be making its way closer.
So she remains open.
Exposed. Vulnerable. Unafraid to believe.
Not because she is waiting to be rescued, but because she trusts that the love worthy of her will recognize her without being shown the way.
The blindfold becomes more than an absence of sight. It represents surrender—the decision to stop demanding certainty from the future.
Perhaps that is what faith really is:
Closing your eyes to everything that failed you and still leaving your heart open to everything that might find you.
She cannot see the future.
She cannot see the person approaching.
She cannot know how the story ends.
And still, she believes.
That is Bellissima — Blinded by Faith.
